This gallery includes pictures from the Murcia and Valencia Regions of Spain. Venues include Embalse De Argos, Embalse De Alfonso XIII, Rio Segura, Embalse De Blanca and Embalse De Pedrera.

Extremadura Gallery

Special photos from special trips to the Orellana reservoir and river system situated in the Extremadura Region of Spain. Guests who visited with me were genuinely amazed at the unexplored angling wilderness. Giant fish, great guide Craig Reid, fantastic hotel courtesy of Jaime.  

Fly Fishing
These pictures mainly feature Hondon Trucha lake near Elche. Regular competitions take place there and Jan Keijsers welcomes guests of all experience levels to practice or learn fly fishing. The venue is excellent as it is well stocked and free of snags.

Rio Ebro
Pictures from trips to the world famous Ebro water. The giant Catfish are legendary but the water holds many more fantastic examples of regular fish such as Carp and Zander.   

Spanish Awards Ceremonies
The Spanish anglers accepted me so well and it shows in these pictures of awards ceremonies I attended to collect trophies. The Club De Pesca Puerto De Mazarron members have become my dear friends and I will never forget that sport has no barriers be it language or race.      

Kayak Fishing
I introduced the relatively new sport of Kayak Fishing to Murcia and it was at first to the amusement of my Spanish angling colleagues but not for long. Competitions were soon organised and the Spaniards were thrilled with the experience.   

Spanish & English Press Coverage

It is always a pleasant surprise when the press or TV cover anything that you achieve. The Spanish and English press were always willing to promote the Spanish - Anglo relations within the angling world. Some featured articles and photos from TV programme filming over the years are in this gallery.
